Where the four meet

Where an Albany marketing plan should start

Albany has 56,894 residents, and a service business here has to show the work, name the price and answer the phone. Lithium Marketing runs the website, local search, Google Ads and phone answering that carry a customer from a search to a call.

Linn County has 2,846 business establishments, including 75 new home builders, 61 residential remodelers, 49 landscaping services and 45 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors. An owner in any of those trades can lose a job between the ad, the website and the phone, so the plan keeps those pieces with one team.

The Albany market

A small city with a broad owner base

Albany is the county seat of Linn County, and Linn County's population is 132,843. Of Albany's occupied homes, 58.9% are owner-occupied, and across Linn County the owner-occupied share is 66.9%, so repair, remodel and replacement work all have a local base.

Albany has 22,768 housing units. Albany's median household income is $78,114. A business selling a large project should put the price and the proof on the page before it asks for a call.

Trades in Linn County

Builders lead, and the repair trades follow

New home builders are the biggest trade group in Linn County, and residential remodelers are next. Both sell planned projects, so their pages need a gallery, a project type and a quote request that asks for scope before it asks for a budget.

Landscaping services are the third group, and the plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors are fourth. Each of those trades sells a different job to Albany homeowners, and a single page that lists them all gives a customer nothing to choose between.

The order of work

The order we work in

Tracking comes first, then the site, then the channels that send calls to it.

1

Read the calls you already receive

We put call and form tracking on the site, the Google Business Profile and any ads, then read the first month of real calls.

2

Replace a slow phone page

A plumber's site that takes too long on a phone gets rebuilt before more traffic is sent to it.

3

Open one channel at a time

We write a page for each service first, then Google Ads covers the roofing or remodel jobs that need filling sooner.

4

Answer the calls that arrive

The AI receptionist takes each call, and custom automation handles the follow-up that used to wait for morning.

Lithium publishes a typical price for four of its five services, and AI automation is quoted after a free discovery call. Your proposal depends on scope, competition and ad spend.

Larger sites with more pages or integrations get a fixed proposal after a 30-minute discovery call. Six to nine weeks from kickoff to launch.

Typical local SEO retainer, scoped against your revenue per lead.

Google Ads management

Scoped

after discovery

Clear, upfront pricing after a free discovery call. Custom builds typically take 1–2 weeks.

Optional hosting and maintenance: $99/month. Secure private hosting on a dedicated high-speed server, daily backups, software and security updates, and basic website changes are all included. Most clients choose this option to keep their new website updated and running smoothly; it is not required.

Our usual service agreement starts with six months, then continues month to month with 30 days’ cancellation notice. Your written agreement sets the final terms. The AI receptionist has no contract.

FAQ

Answers before the first invoice

DJ Van Zanten

Still curious?

Call (503) 766-5964 or email [email protected].

Which part is losing jobs?

The first month of tracking shows it. A phone that rings out points to the receptionist, a site that is slow on a phone points to a rebuild, and a good site that nobody finds points to SEO or ads. Bring your last month of calls and the co-founder will put them in order.

Can we hire one service at a time?

Start with one service. Plenty of clients begin with a website or one ad campaign and add search or phone answering later. Most services start with six months, then run month to month with 30 days' notice. The AI receptionist has no contract. Each service is priced on its own, so the total is the services you choose, and the proposal shows that number before work starts.

Who will be on the calls?

You will talk to a co-founder on the strategy calls and an account manager for the day to day. Lithium is headquartered in Portland, with team members in Portland, Bend and Seattle, and we work with every client by video.

What does a second service add to the bill?

It adds the price of that service, nothing more. A one-location plumber with a short service list pays less than a builder with a page for every project type. SEO moves with the amount of content and profile work, Google Ads moves with ad spend, the channels you run and the landing page work, and a website moves with page count. The proposal puts the number in front of you before the first invoice.

How do you measure whether the plan works?

The monthly report counts calls and leads from every channel, and the plan review compares that trend with the pages and campaigns that went live. If one part of the plan produces calls and another does not, the next month's work follows the report. No one can promise a number in advance.
