Asking for reviews
- Ask on the day you finish, before the details fade
- Text or email your profile’s review link so it opens in one tap

Google Business Profile checklist
A fully optimized profile has the right categories, every service listed, a service area that matches where you work, accurate hours and contact details, real photos, and a steady flow of reviews with replies.
Setup, then upkeep
Lithium sets the profile up completely once, then keeps it accurate and consistent alongside the rest of your SEO.
Every item on the checklist above, filled in or corrected and checked against Google’s guidelines for business profiles.
Your name, phone and services are corrected on Yelp, Apple Maps and Bing Places, so every listing matches your profile.
Your service and town pages, schema and contact details say the same thing as the profile, so every place Google checks agrees.
New photos of real work go up, and when you add a service, change your hours or start working a new town, the profile changes to match.
Call tracking and GA4 show which calls and website visits came from your Map Pack listing, and the monthly report counts them as leads.
Google’s AI Overviews pull business details and reviews from profiles like yours, so an accurate profile is what an AI answer has to work with.
Google reviews
Ask every customer and keep it honest: Google lets a business request reviews, but not pay for them, write them or ask only the customers it expects to be happy.
Lithium’s review-funnel support gives your team a simple, repeatable way to send that request, so no one on the crew has to remember to ask.
Service-area businesses
Yes. Google lets a business that works at the customer’s door keep its street address off the profile and still appear in the Map Pack and on Google Maps.
Ranking without a storefront comes down to the same three factors Google uses for every local result.
How well your profile and website match what the buyer typed, from your categories to a page on your site for each service.
How far the searcher is from your business. Nothing changes this, so the other two carry the work.
How well known the business is across the web, from your reviews to the sites that link to and list you.
Published rankings
Both companies got a new website and SEO from Lithium, and Town & Country Glass also ran Google Ads. Fast service pages and steady link building are the website half of local search, the part a strong profile needs behind it.

For Sarkinen Plumbing, the plumber at the top of this page, Lithium optimized the Google Business Profile as part of its SEO, alongside a new website and Google Ads.
Pricing
There’s no separate fee: profile work is included in every SEO retainer Lithium runs.
$1,300–$3,000
per month
Setup and monthly upkeep share one price with technical SEO, content, links and reporting, and the value of a lead in your trade sets where that price lands. Service agreements typically start with six months, then renew monthly with 30 days’ cancellation notice.
“Ever since we've used Lithium Marketing, our phone has been ringing off the hook and we can hardly keep up with the leads we get from Google, Facebook or through our website. Most of our leads other than referrals are through Google and it's all because of Lithium Marketing.”
Chris MartinMt. Hood Pro Painting“We used the team at Lithium Marketing to update our website and increase our SEO. We couldn't have been happier with the results! We receive compliments about our updated website on a regular basis!”

Profile corrections show up as soon as Google accepts each edit, and Map Pack movement usually takes 60 to 90 days. The Map Pack takes longer because it depends on reviews, citations and your website pages building up together.
A service business needs one Google Business Profile, not one per town: Google allows a profile only for a real location where you meet customers or base staff. A second town gets its own profile only if you have a staffed office there, and extra profiles for towns without one break Google’s guidelines and can get the business suspended.
Getting a suspended Google Business Profile back starts with finding the cause and fixing it, then asking Google to reinstate the profile. Suspensions follow guideline breaks, and common causes are keywords added to the business name and an address that doesn’t qualify, such as a P.O. box or a virtual office. Google’s reinstatement request asks for proof of the business, such as a license or a utility bill. Don’t create a new profile in the meantime.
Google removes a review only when it breaks Google’s policies. Spam, fake engagement, conflicts of interest and off-topic content can be flagged from your profile, and Google decides whether the review comes down. A real negative review stays up even when you disagree with it.
