Start with the cities you serve

The New Mexico cities where your next jobs are

Lithium Marketing is a digital marketing agency for New Mexico's home service and trade businesses. We design and build websites, run SEO and Google Ads, and put an AI receptionist on the phones. A plan starts with the cities your crews cover, then adds the pages, campaigns and phone answering that fit those places.

Only three New Mexico cities have at least 100,000 residents: Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Las Cruces. The rest of New Mexico is spread across smaller places, so a company covering the whole state needs different pages than one working the Albuquerque metro. The city pages let you start where your crews already work and your customers already call.

Choose a city

Where to look first in New Mexico

Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe and Roswell each have their own page. Start with the place where you want the next job, then read the guide for the next city on your list.

Housing and where people live

Older homes and customers in a few metros

The median New Mexico home was built in 1985, and 9.8% of the state's homes were built in 2010 or later. If repair and replacement are part of your business, feature the older homes on your service pages. If you install finishes or work on newer houses, show a job from that side too. A homeowner who sees their own kind of house in the photos has one less reason to keep looking.

The Albuquerque metropolitan area includes New Mexico's third-largest city, Rio Rancho, and has a population of over 918,000, accounting for one-third of all New Mexicans. The Las Cruces metropolitan area has roughly 214,000 residents. Those two metros are the state's two main population centers, so a business covering both should give each its own page, its own job photos and its own quote form.

The trades behind the work

What the statewide trade counts mean for your pages

Plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors account for 691 establishments statewide. Residential remodelers make up 610 establishments statewide. Those counts cover the whole state. Your service pages still have to name the jobs you take in each city. A plumbing company that also installs water heaters can give that service its own page, and a homeowner comparing repair and replacement options needs to see which one you do before calling.

Electrical contractors total 604 establishments statewide. A panel upgrade and an emergency repair are different jobs, and each deserves its own explanation. The same rule holds for the roofer, the landscaper and the painter on the chart: name the work you take, show a finished example and let the customer compare it with the job in front of them.

FAQ

New Mexico questions before you commit to a plan

Which New Mexico city should we target first?

Pick the city where you want the next job, not the biggest city on the list. That city's page shows the searches and housing for the place, and the plan can start there and add the next city when the work comes in. If two cities matter equally, choose the one where you have customers.

Is there enough search demand in New Mexico to make this worthwhile?

The demand is in the cities, not the statewide phrase. The state phrases come from businesses shopping for an agency, not from a homeowner looking for a plumber. That customer types the job and the city, so build those pages first. Treat the state phrase as a secondary target.

What do we own, and how long is the agreement?

You own the domain, hosting, WordPress installation and content when we build your website. Our usual agreement starts with six months, then runs month to month, and 30 days' notice ends it. The AI receptionist works differently: no contract, no setup fee, and you can stop it whenever you like.

How long does each service take to show results?

Google Ads usually starts producing clicks in the first week. A website build takes six to nine weeks from kickoff to launch. SEO works on a longer clock, with technical fixes usually moving within 30 days and local and long-tail visibility typically building over 60 to 90 days.

What makes one proposal cost more than another?

Scope drives it. The SEO retainer depends on how many city pages you need, the state of your site and what a booked job is worth to you. The Google Ads management fee scales with ad spend, the channels you run and the landing page work. A larger website gets a fixed proposal, and AI automation is scoped after a free discovery call.
