Choose the city first

The Virginia markets where your crews already work

Lithium Marketing builds marketing plans for Virginia service businesses one city at a time, starting with the cities where your crews already work. Each city page carries its own search and housing figures, so you can check demand before you choose a service. Open the city page for your market, then pick the first fix: a website, local SEO, Google Ads or the AI receptionist.

Over three million people, 35% of Virginians, live in the 20 jurisdictions collectively defined as Northern Virginia. That is a region, not a city, so Northern Virginia has a metro page while Arlington and Alexandria keep their own pages. A business that serves both can compare the Arlington and Alexandria pages before choosing where to start.

Pick your Virginia city

Find the Virginia city page for your market

Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Richmond, Arlington, Norfolk, Newport News, Alexandria, Hampton, Suffolk and Roanoke all have a page of their own, with each city's search and housing figures. Northern Virginia gets a separate metro page because it takes in more than one of those markets.

Older homes, newer homes

How home age changes your service pages

The median Virginia home dates to 1984. If repair and replacement work is part of your business, show what you found and what you fixed on an older house, so a homeowner can compare that job with their own.

The share of Virginia homes built in 2010 or later is 11.6%. A builder, remodeler or HVAC company that wants work on newer homes needs a page for those jobs too, with the questions and photos that belong to them.

What the trade counts show

Big categories hide different businesses

Residential remodelers number 3,771 statewide in Virginia. Plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors number 2,765 across Virginia. Those labels cover very different jobs, so a kitchen remodel and an emergency repair should not share one page.

Virginia has 556 roofing contractors. A roofer’s page still needs to name the roof types and repairs the crew handles, with photos from those jobs, so a homeowner can tell whether the work matches their roof. A painter or landscaper faces the same task: show the work the crew does, not the category.

Optional hosting and maintenance: $99/month. Secure private hosting on a dedicated high-speed server, daily backups, software and security updates, and basic website changes are all included. Most clients choose this option to keep their new website updated and running smoothly; it is not required.

Our usual service agreement starts with six months, then continues month to month with 30 days’ cancellation notice. Your written agreement sets the final terms. The AI receptionist has no contract.

FAQ

What to settle before Virginia work begins

DJ Van Zanten

Still curious?

Call (503) 766-5964 or email [email protected].

Can we keep our marketing to the Virginia cities we serve?

Choose the cities where you already book work and treat the rest as later markets. Ads can run in those cities alone, so a small budget does not have to reach the state line. A business working in Hampton Roads can leave Roanoke out of the plan.

What makes one Virginia SEO quote higher than another?

The cities you target and the value of a booked job decide where you sit in the SEO range above. A plumber who works one city and a remodeler who covers several counties will not land in the same place on that range.

What do we keep if the work ends?

The site stays with you: domain, hosting, WordPress installation and content are all in your name. A private Loom walkthrough covers the edits your team will make once the site is live.

How does the AI receptionist handle a call it cannot book?

It transfers the call to a real person, using the transfer number you set. It also answers questions using the business details you provide, books appointments and sends follow-up texts. At $179 a month, it has no contract and no setup fee. Custom automation, such as dispatch or follow-up sequences, is a separate project quoted after a free discovery call.

Do you work with my trade?

Lithium works with home and local service businesses, including plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, electricians, remodelers, landscapers and painters. The service list you bring decides the pages and campaigns, so nothing is built from a single-trade template. If your trade is not on that list, ask on the call.
