The state, city by city

North Carolina work starts with the city list

Lithium Marketing works with service businesses across North Carolina on the four services that turn searches into booked work: a WordPress website, local SEO, Google Ads and an AI receptionist that answers the phone. We size the work to the cities where you can send a crew, so a two-van plumber and a home builder start from different plans.

North Carolina counted 11,197,968 residents in 2025, 7.2% more than in 2020. Even in a growing state, customers search one city at a time, so each city page carries its own search volumes and housing figures, and the plan follows the places where the work is.

The covered cities

Every North Carolina city page stands on its own

Each city below has its own page: Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Winston-Salem, Fayetteville, Cary, Wilmington, High Point and Concord. Start with the market where you want the next job, then work down your service list.

Housing stock

Housing age decides which pages you need

Of the homes in North Carolina, 33.9% were built before 1980 and 16.5% in 2010 or later. The older share is where repair and replacement work concentrates, so those jobs need their own pages. A company that also builds or remodels needs a second set, because the homeowner shopping for a roof repair is not shopping for a new build.

66.6% of occupied homes in North Carolina are owner-occupied, so write the quote form for the person who owns the property, and let the phone answers match the form. North Carolina runs from the Atlantic coastal plain in the east through the central Piedmont to the mountain region in the west, and one service list can cross all three. Name the counties you cover on each city page and let a caller check that you cover their county before filling out a form.

Trade counts

Read the trade counts as a page plan

Landscaping leads the state's trade counts: 4,361 landscaping services work statewide. That category covers routine upkeep and a one-time install, so one page for both leaves the customer guessing which one you are. 3,646 residential remodelers work statewide, and a kitchen remodel and a whole-house addition need separate pages for the same reason.

North Carolina has 3,973 plumbing, heating and air-conditioning contractors and 816 roofing contractors. A homeowner who cannot tell if you repair or replace may hesitate before calling, so say which one you do on the page. Carry that answer into the ad and the greeting, and the call starts on the right job.

FAQ

The questions to settle before you commit

Which city on our list deserves the first page?

Pick the city where a booked job is worth the most to you, not the one with the biggest population. That city's page carries its search and housing figures, so you can check the demand against your crew's capacity before you commit. Add a second city when the first one is producing steady work.

How many city pages do we need?

Build one page per city, once you want work there. Customers type the city's name, and a page that lists a group of towns leaves each town without a page of its own. Choose the market you want to win next, build its page with photos and reviews from that place, then move to the next city.

What decides what we pay across several cities?

The published prices are listed above; what you buy decides which one applies. Each city you add brings its own pages and ad targeting to build and manage, and a site that needs repairs adds work before the pages go live. We quote the Google Ads management fee against your ad budget, the channels you run and the landing pages the campaign needs. The ad budget itself goes to Google.

Can one plan cover a service area that crosses the state?

Yes, when the site, the campaigns and the AI receptionist all use the same coverage list. We write each city page from its own market and keep the campaigns inside the counties you serve. Send the county list and any limits by service, and the plan can start with the markets where your crews already work.

What happens to the website and phone line if we stop?

The site stays yours: your domain and hosting account are in your name, and the WordPress site and its content are yours to keep. After an initial six months, the usual agreement continues month to month with 30 days' notice; the AI receptionist has no contract at all, so you can stop it whenever you like. Ask for the terms in writing before work starts.
